Janet Rake

Janet has had a passion for swimming from a young age, which lead her into competitive Synchronised Swimming at club level.

After taking time out to start her family, Janet set her teaching career journey in motion, gaining her first Instruction Qualification from the ASA and teaching her own children to swim.

As the children progressed through the swim program so did Janet's qualifications, she studied for and gained qualifications from the STA (Swimming Teachers Association) as a Full instructor, Mother & Babies instructor and also the ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) Mother & Babies instructor.

Janet has now gained over 35 years experience, and is enjoying passing on her love and passion for swimming to the children of the swimezee teaching program

Kim Oliphant

As Janet's daughter, Kim has always shared her mothers passion for swimming.

Kim has been teaching now for many years after retiring from a successful competitive career where she gained both a wealth of experience and achievements.

Kim joined Janet at Swimezee in the later part of 2006 teaching both classes and 1-2-1 lessons in Reflextions Health & Leisure Club and Spirits Health Club and to date enjoys the position to it's full potential.

In the early part of 2002 Kim studied for her ASA Level 2 Teachers qualification.

In 2007 Kim studied for her ASA Unit 4 Starts and Turns qualification.

Since having her children, Kim has taken more of an admin role within Swimezee but does still teach when needed.
